Do you like the fact that 100% of your Federal Income Taxes go toward paying interest on the Deficit?
The government has over 100 other taxes it imposes on you to pay for actual government "services." Local taxes, gas taxes, and property taxes are examples. With none of the future presidential candidates except for Ron Paul pushing for any reduction in government spending, how do We The People stop government from the reckless spending and waste of our money?

- Vote into office True Conservatives not just RINOs. Althought GW increased spending his tax cuts actually increased tax revenues but alas the spending overcame any increases.
- I do not spend time being concerned about things I have no control over .
- A 100% of the Federal Income Taxes will not go to the Deficit. After all they need to keep 50% for themselves or give out to their friends pet project. I don't know how you get them to stop reckless spending. It isn't their money, and look how badly people spend their own money. Today I think your only choice is what they will recklessly spend your money on.
- There's nothing you can do about it. They all lie anyways.
- I think we can all agree that the Federal Debt is atrocious as a result of irresponsible fiscal policies. But your lead sentence is way off. Here are the facts: - Revenue from income taxes: $809B (ref: http://www.publicagenda.org/issues/factfiles_detail.cfm?issue_type=federal_budget&list=7) - Interest on the national debt: About $350B If you want to be taken seriously, I would recommend to "know thy facts". When a person shows reckless disregard for the facts in pursuit of an agenda, it is easy to dismiss them as a nut, and marginalize them in the grand debate.
