income taxes help


We are a military family that lives in MD but claims TX as our state. Do we need to file MD state taxes?

We lived here the entire year and have a house here. But we are officially Texas state residents. We have never owed state taxes before. married filing joint, i have no income, hubby has military income + very small income from a part time job at teh school here. less than $200. paid md taxes on that, $12. 3 kids.

  1. Probably your legal office will have a better answer, or they can tell you how to get one. But I think you owe taxes for hubby's military pay to Texas, now MD. Taxes for non-military income earned in MD would be payable to MD.
