What advantages are there living in Texas versus living in Oklahoma?

We're thinking about moving to Texas (close to Decatur). It may be one year or five years, but we're still planning on it. The only thing I know is that Texas has no state income tax. (We live in Oklahoma currently). We're probably going to either move our trailer there or sell this one and buy another. What's the story on cost of living down there? Thanks.

2. I can´t think of a thing that puts one ahead of the other.
3. Well. as you've probably heard, everything is bigger and better in Texas!!! Just stay out of Houston and Dallas. They are both pretty ugly cities. My suggestion would be to go to the hill country around New Braunfels. It's really pretty up there and the rivers (Guadalupe, Comal) are like right in your back yard.
4. the cost of living is slightly higher here in Texas, but not by much.
5. most of the tornadoes will be to your north
