Where do I file my state income taxes?
Last year I resided and worked for most of last year in a Southern State (U.S.). This was and is not my home state. Where should I file my state income taxes?

- BLOODY AWSOME PIC!!!
- My guess is that you would need to file a return in the State in which you earned your salary as a non-resident and also file a return with the State in which you reside. Since you will be paying an income tax to the State in which you worked, it is quite possible that a credit of some sort is available to you in your State of Residence. I would suggest that you read the tax preparation instructions that are provided by each of the states in question.
