IRS forms. 1040 or 1040a?

How to tell if the form is 1040 or 1040A? Help immediately I'm filling out FAFSA as we type...lol

1. I think it'll say whatever form it is at both the top and bottom margins of the form. I think the identifying form number at the top is in big, bold numbers and letters.
