What documentation do I need to use IRS form 8917 (tuition) on my 1040 for 2008? ?
I received a 1098T for my dependent daughter's tuition (thousands), and I also have one for myself (one class - $92 only) Any other help you can offer to calculate would be great. Thank you.

- One form for her, one form for you. Also consider using form 8863. The 1098-T is not proof of what you spent. Actual bills and cancelled checks are.
