1040x says to send payment of 7500 to IRS for form 5405. 1040 shows I get the credit. What do I do?
Turbotax says I'll get my refund plus the first time homebuyers credit but the printed out virsion of the 1040x says I need to mail my w2 and my "payment" of 7500 to the irs. Did I do my taxes wrong? Is this just their way of keeping record that it's a loan? HELP!

- I would spend the money for a CPA to help you. This way the process wont be held up for a minor mistake or oversight. That is what I am doing. Nice refund though.
- I went through the same thing. Turbotax had an update yesterday that fixed the problem. Go back and try again.
