What is the best tax preparation software to prepare multiple state returns, and not a huge cost?
This year I have to file for IL, IA and NE (ugh), so I want to know if anyone has any reccomendation for a cheaper but trustworthy tax software... Or is my old friend TurboTax the way to go?

- If you are filing all of that, I HIGHLY recommend you get a professional to assist you. At least price them to see how much. Every year, I have many people come to me that did Turbo Tax but it isn't as easy as many people think. They get notices from the state or IRS and then hire me to fix it all. Fixing the errors usually takes more time and costs more money than if I had done the return the first time. I am not saying Turbo Tax doesn't have a place in the market for some people...just if things get complicated...better to go to a pro than turn in something you are unsure about.
