Would I be able to claim Last years Mortgage interest and real estate taxes?
My home loan is under my mothers name but I pay the mortgage which gets automatically deducted from my account every two weeks. She didnt claim the mortgage interest and real estate taxes for last year for the house...no one did...would I be able to do an amended form and claim last years taxes?

- No, since the loan isn't in your name, you aren't legally required to pay it, and so the interest isn't deductible for you even if you are the one paying it.
- No, but she can file an amended return
