Have the IRS 1040 forms been sent out yet?
We usually get our tax forms in the mail by now. Have they been sent out yet? We had our mail stopped for a few days and are becoming a little paranoid.

- Yes, you can also get them from IRS.gov. Or you can use free IRS self-calculating forms at pdftax.com. http://www.irs.gov/ TaxRef http://www.pdftax.com/
- They are mailed in "waves." Not every address in the U.S. gets them the same day.
- You should buy the program or do it online. Most people who do manual returns lose valuable deductions. Just a thought.
- If you efiled last year, you won't get a package in the mail. If you need or want a paper form, download them at irs.gov Post offices and libraries will have them sometime soon, but I haven't seen them there yet.
- I have been wondering the same thing. I did not receive mine yet, either.
