Considering the US tax stimulus packages, why do so many Americans still lie & cheat on their IRS tax forms?

The IRS does not have enough manpower nor does it have the budget to monitor and investigate the millions of people who file taxes.

1. Greed and fear!
2. We need to totally eliminate paper money and make every thing traceable that would eliminate the black market and force people to pay their taxes.
3. The tax bracket who receives the stimulus packages is also the tax bracket that has the lowest level of tax evasion. The middle class and the rich (i.e. the ones who receive the least tax breaks) have higher levels of tax evasion.
4. There was a stimulus package? If you make x, but claim business losses greater than x, there was no check for you.
5. Alot of people pay the tax they actually owe without lying about their income. Those people are true patriots. Those who lie about their taxes are something similar to the scumbags in corporate america and congress.
6. The income tax created more criminals than any other single act of government. I think it should be ABOLISHED Voting for INDEPENDENT
