Whats the percentage?

Here is a brief overview of my paystub, I want to know what percentage of money is taken out for; Federal Income Tax, Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, and Ohio state income tax. I live in ohio my check before taxes was 708.75 Federal: -76.31 Social: -43.94 Medicare: -10.28 OH state: 13.47 Net pay (after deductions): 564.75 Tell me the percentage taken from each section of the check like how much for each tax, not the entire check. I want to know this becuase I want to be able to calculate my checks. I just started this job and I want to know what my checks are going to be like. Now although that check was only for half a week the percentage is always the same.

  1. To get the percentage, divide each deduction by the gross amount, and multiply by 100. Social security and medicare will be the same % all the time unless you make over $100,000 for the year from one employer - they'll total 7.65%. Income tax % will change depending on how much you make - the % will go up as gross pay goes up
