Are real estate taxes deductible on a summer home?
for the year 2007? Also, are they deductible on the principal residence?

- Yes. All real estate taxes are deductible.
- Yep, R.E. taxes and mortgage payments on both your first and second home are deductible. You add them together for your Schedule A.
- They are deductible assuming that you itemize your deductions. If you have mortgage interest on that home it is also deductible.
