I called the IRS and let them know of my new address ?

becuase they did not receive my new address before it was sent out it got returned to the IRS office. About how long will I have to wait before I see that Check after my address has been chaged w ith the IRS

1. We don't know. This rebate thing is all new for the IRS and the public. 4 to 6 weeks is the soonest I would look for the check to arrive.

3. Once IRS changes your address on their system usually takes 2-3 weeks for your check to be reissued to your new address.
4. From the date you contacted the IRS with your new address, it take 2 to 3 weeks for the address to post (change) on the IRS computer system. Then in 1 to 2 weeks the IRS will issue another check to you at the new address. Then allowing 3 to 7 days for the Post Office to get the check to you, you should have the check in 4 to 6 weeks.
