What are the income taxes for US citizens workign for US corp in Mexico?
I am a US citizen and hired by a US corporation based in the US but I live and work in Mexico. what are the income taxes like for me and what are they like for the corporation? is there a penalty for the coporation given my living arrangement in Mexico? help! thanks!

- US citizen's are taxed on worldwide income so the fact that you are in a different country does not change your taxes owed to the US. Your employer will know this. There are several other considerations if you are there for work for an extended period and have to have housing or pay taxes in that country. You could qualify for foreign tax credits or housing credits on your US taxes. See publication 54 printed by the IRS (available at www.irs.gov) for all the details.
