How much money did the US govt recieve in income taxes and how many taxpayers are there?
This could be for any recent year that has the figures available. I would like to the total amount the government received in income taxes along with how many taxpayers there are.

- In 2006 there were 133,917,068 Individual Income Tax Returns filed with the IRS and they collected approximately $1.2 trillion from individual tax returns.
