I've gone through the process of doing it with H&R Block online (the DIY way). I made a total of about $3,000 with a company, some in Ohio, some in Virginia. On my W-2's, it has the same total of wages, but it's different near like box 15. The problem comes when I have to account for both of these W-2's online with H&R Block b/c if I enter it as my W-2's say, it counts my total wages twice. I tried to zero out the wage entries for one of them, and when I neared the end it told me I was ineligible to e-file due to one of my W-2's claiming $0 in wages. Hopefully someone understands what I'm trying to explain and can help! Example of how I entered info for Ohio: W-2 #1 [1] wages $2,961 [2] fed tax W/H $111 [4]SS tax W/H $184 [6] Med Tax W/H $43 [15] State OH [16] State Wages $1,511 [17] State Income Tax $6 ---- Example of how I entered VA: W-2 #2 [1] wages $0 [2] fed tax W/H $0 [4]SS tax W/H $0 [6] Med Tax W/H $0 [15] State VA [16] State Wages $1,450 [17] State Income Tax $20 I think I'm just going to try to split up the amounts based on box #15, then on the second w-2 claim or whatever, just 0 out the medicaid, SS, ect. Oh, and not that it's your business, but my husband is in the Army and we're in South Korea. I went through heck and back trying to get these W-2's to me, and I just got them last night.
