Taxing Question?
I live in West Virginia. Am I required to claim distributions from a 401 Roth account as income to the state tax of West Virginia? I turned 59 1/2 in July 2007.

- It depends on how WV considers those. Federal says no, due to how the Roth rules were established. Each state sets up it's on laws on state taxes. I am not a tax pro, but if WV already taxed that money, they should not be able to tax it again. Congrats on your retirement.
