How do I inform the IRS that someone does not live at my address?
For the past nine years I have been receiving mail from the IRS for the former owner of my home. Every year i write " return to sender, does not live here", but i continue to receive his mail from them. It is as if they do not process that information upon receiving the returned mail.

- IRS.gov Click on Contact........call them....Nuf Said
- Call then and tell them. Or just keep returning the mail.
- I wouldn't worry about it, just keep returning the mail. You might let your mailman know as well and they might quit delivering it.
