I would like to know which is the best free online tax preparation?

I googled for free tax prep software and I got many sites, can any one tell me which is the best free online software I can use.

1. Your best bet is to go to the irs website... http://www.irs.gov and use the free filing options they have there. The software they recommend will probably be your more secure option. I personally love Turbo Tax, and if you qualify they do have a free file option. Hope that helps!

3. A worthy candidate may be TaxAct. I found it to be slow, but it is accurate and can do the Schedule A, C, D, E and probably 1120 and 1065. Was also surprised to see it praised by a Kaye Thomas. He's written a few books about taxes, and his website is one of the most informative I have seen: www.fairmark.com Turbotax is pretty good but has a glitch this year. If you have a HSA, you will wind up having a much larger Federal income tax liability because there's a bug that Intuit hasn't killed yet.
