How will you spend your additional tax refund from Congress?
Congress has decided to refund taxpayers anywhere from $300-$1200 this May through July. The amount you receive will be determined by your filing status. But the good news is that If you paid income tax for the year 2007, you will be receiving some additional money this spring/summer. How will you use this additional money? Make a charitable donation or a political contribution? Buy consumer goods? Reduce personal debt? Put it into savings? Fatten an IRA? Invest in the stock market? Fund more education? Spend it on something completely frivolous?

- It's going in the bank, because I realize that this is NOT free money, just an advance on next year's return.
- i'm going to buy carbon credits to offset my personal footprint.
- I would hope Americans would use it to pay off their debts that need to be paid off.
- Hit The strip clubs you know give back to the community
- i am going to buy 5 minutes with Elliot Spitzers ho
- Put it in the bank to pay some of the additional taxes if Clinton or Obama gets elected. It wont last long.
- I hope it comes in time to pay the next mortgage payment.
- I'm very money-conscious (which is hilarious considering neither of my parents was ever good at saving money), so that extra stimulus will be going into my savings account. I'll use part of it for Christmas, but whatever is left goes into my emergency fund. I've already spend about 75% of my refund, but again, I was being frugal. I paid my entire year's car insurance last week, so I don't have to worry about that $75 monthly bill.
