- You could probably find the info you need on the irs website. http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/article/0,,id=150856,00.html
- you can get all that on the irs website irs.gov
- Start with the IRS website so you are sure to have the most accurate up-to-date information.
- irs.gov that is the site to answer all of your tax questions. including the taxable income pages...
- You can download one from irs.gov website.
- Try the IRS.GOV website or click this link http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040.pdf
- http://www.irs.gov
- http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040ez--2006.pdf page 25 is for the 1040 EZ form. It looks to me like $2,386 from the chart. Now for the disclaimer you should not rely soley on this information and it's recommended you seek the services of an appropriate tax consultant.
- Using the 2006 tax table for $18,439 taxable income for a single person the tax would be: $2,386.
- Unless that will be your total income for the year, this answer is fairly useless to you - even then it wouldn't be accurate. But since you ask, federal income tax for a single person in 2006 with a TAXABLE income of $18,439 was $2386.
- Go to irs.gov it'll tell ya :)
