Address change in IRS?

Recently we moved to other state, before that we filed federal tax returns2007, and I mailed change of address form, included my wifes name but there I did not find kids info, my question is do I need send another change of address form for my kid?and even address also not updated with my 2007 returns address its still having my 2006 address.I dont know what to do, and in change of address form I put my old address is 2007 returns address and new is my current address.Please let me know if any body have suggestions.Thanks,raj

  1. you need to submit a change of address to the old post office so that if the IRS doesn't get the change in, the post office will forward your refund to your new address.
  2. For IRS you must provide IRS form 8822 change of address. Or you could call IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to change your address. For other mail if your children important mail then change the address with the post office.
