Can we claim for real estate taxes and car registration paid last year but not claimed in this year return?

I forgot to include my real estate taxes(amounts to 1000) dollars and car registration fee(about 400 dollars). I feel bad now :( that I could have saved myself atleast 400 dollars :( I forgot to include my real estate taxes(amounts to 1000) dollars and car registration fee(about 400 dollars) in filing my 2006 taxes. I feel bad now :( that I could have saved myself atleast 400 dollars :(. Can I claim for those in 2007 taxes along with my new car registration and new property taxes???

1. It goes on the return for the year it is paid.
2. You can't claim them on your 2007 return. You must file an amended return for 2006 using Form 1040-X and claim them there.
3. No, but you can amend your return for the year that you paid them, and claim them there.
