Has anyone who filed thru H&R Block received their refund today 1/25 . IRS website says my refund was to be ..

deposited today and it's almost 3:30PM and no refund.Curiosity I guess I wanna know if I am the only one who hasn't gotten it yet. Thanks I used simple pay and fees were to be taken out of my refund and then deposited to my account.I've done this every year and it's always been on time.

1. If you did it to where you are going back to the office to pick up that means that $ was directdeposited into the bank that they use and they haven't given the o.k. for block to print the check. If you did a direct deposite then it could be that your bank is holding the check til it clears and that's why the $ isn't showing up yet. Relax it'll be there soon. :)
2. Okay here's the latest I talked to HR bank and they got a HUGE lump sum payment today. They are trying to send it out. They will be working tomorrow, and your money could show up at anytime. Yes I was on hold for over an hour to get this answer. They cannot see exactly whose money came in so she said be patient and the money is on the way. She said no later than Tuesday
3. I too have not received my refund as of yet either...i am a little concerned as it always has posted in the past when it has stated that it was going to..hmm. wonder what is up with that!!??
4. I am in this exact situation, the irs site and phone number say it is deposited today 1/25/08 and yet nothing. I DID use the H and R block simple pay option. It never changed anything in the past... does this make a difference? ** after reading that h and r block is holding it for 1-3 days... why is this? I have used this program every year because its so easy and always had my refund when irs said it would be there. I am wondering if everyone who did not get the refund used h and r block!! **** TANISHA M*** hey just wanted to let you know I am in the same situation where h and r block automated system does not recognize my information. The IRS site says my money was deposited on 1/25. I am hoping it is there by Tueday like others have heard. If anyone waits on hold with H and R please post the updated info for us!
5. I bank at Bank of America, and my Federal refund came in today. Bank of America shows it as "pending" today, and by their policies, I can use the funds today. It won't actually be on the books in my account until after midnight tonight. I would suggest checking either tomorrow or Monday, and I'm sure you'll see it if the website said you'd receive it by today.
6. I heard the host for HR Block is down nationwide (just today 1/25/2008). I know some returns have been able to be sent to the IRS & states but not all. I would call H&R Block and see if your return was efiled correctly.
7. I used H&R Blocks Tax cut to prepare my taxes as I do every year. My refund was to be in my account today and it has not yet been deposited. My Mom and my best friends aren't either. All were to be direct deposited today. Not sure what the issue is. Where's my refund still says Jan 25th. I have read that others status on Where's my refund has been changed to Feb 19th. Hopefully ours stays the same and our deposit date doesn't change.
8. I contacted H&R Block because my refund has not gone into my account yet. They claim it takes 1-3 days to process. I think it's a load of crap, just look at how much money than can make in interest by holding everybodies refund just 1 day. I think they are crooks.
9. I used H&R Block and have not received mine today either. I have been worried about it all day so I kept checking the IRS website to see if the DD date has been postponed until February like others I have read, and now the IRS website isn't recognizing my social security number. Do you think it's because I signed in too many times this morning. WEIRD!!!!
10. Hey all, there are several of us who's refund was suppose to post today and now the IRS site has changed either the date or has a message to wait a week before entering their site again. I have used H&R for 6 years and have never had this problem. I know I will pay before hand if I every use them again.
11. HR Block has ur money if you used the simple pay option. They change the routing numbers and such mid stream to go to their bank so they can collect their fees and a hefty sum of intrest off everybodies money. I was supposed to get mine today also. Been trying to find out where my money is all evening. Their site is hard to navigate and the contact us link is hard to find. When you do manange to find it the only support they offer is for technical problems with theur web site or software.
12. I also was suppose to receive my refund today and nothing . I spent 2 hours on the phone and was disconnected 2 times. I have spent hours on the hrb bank website and still there is nothing about refunds on there. I so frustrated, just like the rest of you. What number did anyone call? I'm trying again right now. If anyone can give me any in site as to what number or site they went or called that would be great. Also did anyone get any e-mails from them? This sucks I was suppose to pay for a important surgery and couldn't. Any info would be great.
13. We did our taxes using taxcut free file and the IRS site said a Jan 25 direct deposit (onto our Emerald HRBlock visa card we got last year when they did our taxes for us). It is the 26th now and NOTHING! The IRS site now says it WAS direct deposited so i know this is HRBlocks issue. I realise they are swamped, but they should know they would be and be prepared for it. I NEED my money, i needed it yesterday. Thats why we filed so early. I called this morning and finally got a CSR on the phone and she put me on hold and freakin hung up on me instead of putting me on hold! Anyway im very frustrated, but it is a relief to see we arent alone in this situation. I hope we all have our $$ TODAY!! THIS MORNING!!!
14. I did this also and have been doing it for years. I have called my bank and they have no record of any pending deposits. I called H&R this morning and the lady( nice as she was) had no idea. She is suppose to have her manager call me after 11 this morning. She stated they in the office are not familiar with the online software we use. She did state that the delay may be because it went to their bank 1st. I have exhausted all revenues to find my refund as all of you have as well I suspect. This has never happened before so I hope we all receive our refunds soon!!!!

16. I also used simple pay and my $ still isn't in my account either. I called and used H&R block's online chat help and both people I talked to said it takes an additional 1-2 days to get deposited into your account. The one guy said the latest it should be there is Tuesday ------------ my question is, does anyone have a copy of their simple pay agreements? I was out of ink at the time and didn't print it out. Does it say it will take an additional time to deposit our $$$$? I read through the fine print and my understanding is that it would be immediately deposited into our own accounts after it was received by H&R block!
17. i am trying to find out what happened to. it shows that it goes to their bank first then to ours, also online help is chickens they wont answer.

I have yet to recieve my refund either, called the bank hr block use 800-792-3935 no record of refund, and called 888-482-9288 automated system states it could not find my information, so it has me on a long hold time, guessing everyone else trying to find out what's going on to, guess it's better to use the free irs efile next year, this is getting to big for hr block to handle it seems. Has anyone else got this message, about your information could not be found?
19. I called HR Block (1-888-482-9288) and talked actually to someone. They told me that it was 3 to 5 business days. The weekend doesn't count. IRS is saying the refund paid out on the 25th.
20. I used the H and R block simple pay also and the IRS said my was direct deposited on the 25 and I did not receive my money either!! What is going on?
