1. No, you do not have to send in W2 forms with an electronic filing. You simply enter in all the information from each box on the W2. Filing electronically is much faster than filing a paper form. And if you file electronically, the fastest way to get a refund is to have your refund direct deposited to your checking account. I have done this for the past two years and in each case I had the refund in my checking account 8 days after I submitted the return online.
