  1. There are several with no income tax or sales tax, none with no property tax. Your hoping will not help much. If they don't have one, another gets doubled.
  2. Las Vegas, NV had no state income taxes because the casinos pay everything!
  3. florida, that's why so many professional atheletes live there.
  4. There are states with no income tax: Nevada Texas Alaska Florida South Dakota Washington Wyoming Property taxes are LOCAL, so it doesn't work the way you think to find that answer. Mesa, AZ does not currently have a property tax, but that probably will change. It's hard to find such a place. After seeing what others posted, I have to tell you there IS a property tax in Las Vegas, NV see http://www.insidervlv.com/taxgeneralinfo.html to see Clark County "The Clark County Assessor determines taxable value of each parcel of improved and unimproved property in the county, and that value is multiplied by 35% to obtain the assessed value. To figure the property tax, multiply assessed value by the tax rate: $2.0380-$2.9307 per $100 of assessed valuation. Tax rates are formulated by various governmental boards in each municipality and county." Mesa info: "Why not use property taxes to pay for these programs. The City of Mesa does not have a property tax." http://www.cityofmesa.org/environ/FAQ.aspx When you get to the city level, you need to check the city's web site or you will likely hear inaccurate statements--even if someone lives in the area they don't always know. TN: "The Tennessee income tax does not apply to salaries and wages, but most income from stocks, bonds and notes receivable is taxable at a flat rate of 6 percent. The first $1,250 in taxable income received by a single filer is exempt. The first $2,500 in taxable income received by a joint filer is exempt. Persons older than 65 and who have total income of less than $16,200 for a single filer or $27,000 for a joint filer also are exempt. Tennessee tax returns are due on April 15, or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or holiday. For the 2007 filing season, the deadline for federal returns was changed to Tuesday, April 17. The Department of Revenue is following the federal lead and also giving taxpayers an extra filing day to complete state returns. 5. I live in New Hampshire (Live Free or Die). We have no income or sales tax, except for hotel rooms and meals at restaurants, but we do have property tax. As far as I know Alaska is about the last property tax haven. Most land owners pay very little to nothing on property.
  6. I live in Tennessee, we do not have a state income tax, however our sales tax is higher than average, and you pay sales tax on EVERYTHING
