Moving to foreign country -- which IRS forms do I need to submit?
I have IRS form 8822 -- plain vanilla change of address. Do I need to submit anything else right now? I know that I'll have to file a regular tax return next year. Anything else I should know about before boarding the plane?

- Get a copy of publication 54 and read it. Keep in mind that you may owe estimated taxes and the due dates for those are 4/15, 6/15, 9/15 and 1/15 of the following year.
- You will have to check with the embassy of your new country and see if they allow Dual Citizenship. If not, you'll have to surrender your American passport to Department of State and use a passport from your new country to leave. You're going to need that new passport to get into that other country too.
