- Taxes are paid from Jan 1 through Dec 31 of the year previous. Your employer has until the 1st of February to mail out your income and tax information.
- WHATEVER YEAR YOU ARE IN SAY THIS IS 2007, YOU PAY FOR THE YEAR BEFORE THAT. jANUARY THROUGH DECEMBER. APRIL IS JSUT THE DEADLINE. MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR DEDUCTIONS CORRECT.
- The tax year for individuals is the calendar year, so in April 2008 you'd be filing for all of 2007.
- Taxes for an individual are always for Jan 01 to Dec 31 of any calendar year. Probably if you got a job in December you wouldn't be earning enough income to need to file a tax return for that year, unless you got really big paychecks for that 4 week period.
