Can a person set up payments if having problems paying total amt. of Real Estate Taxes.?

I live in Franklin County MO. and having problems paying my 2006 real Estate Taxes. Meanwhile as each month goes by, a penalty is added toi the amt. owed making it even harder to pay...is there a way to make monthly payments ? Please help.

2. That is a question for your country treasurer/tax collector. However, I highly doubt it.
3. Most states do not allow real estate taxes to be paid on a monthly basis. Why, because of the addtional paperwork. RE Taxes are predominantly paid in one payment usually in the month of November. A solution for you - open another checking account. Have your present checking account wire the monthly tax payment to your new checking account. Then set up an annual withdrawal from the new checking account to pay for your taxes.
