income taxes help

What does this message mean on the irs website?

I got this message when I checked my return status. "Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on March 2, 2007. If your refund is not credited to your account by March 7, 2007, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until March 7, 2007 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then." So should I get it tomorrow most likely? Also for you all that recently got returns were they late? I sure hope not. I need the money. So if it will be posted on Saturday would I be able to still write a check for a little bit of the refund amount after 2pm since the check wouldn't go in until tomorrow?

  1. Most banks would post an ACH transfer within 24 hours of receiving it.
  2. It means they are transferring the money tomorrow but your bank not post it until the 7th.
  3. Yes, you should get it tomorrow. The IRS ALWAYS deposit checks on a friday.
  4. It should be in your bank tomorrow, Before you write a check on any of it, you need to confirm with your bank that the funds have been credited to your account.
