do people on ssi have to file taxes.? do people on ssd have to file taxes? who is exempt? age, income

1. If you only received social security you don't have to file a federal return unless its taxable to IRS. The only way its taxable is if you had taxable wages, pensions, etc. Here is a link to where you can read if its taxable.
