What makes the IRS think that I am a customer?
I am on the phone with the IRS hotline, waiting for some help with some tax forms. While on hold, they tell me they are helping other customers?!?!? WTF? Since when did a tax payer become a customer to the IRS? Oh they play great music while you are on hold... Dah dah dah lah lah....

- lol thats funny
- Good luck! I just received my refund from 2006 last week! I had been fighting with the IRS since May. They didn't credit me with the estimated tax payments that I had made. I was so happy to get that check . . . but, really it was mine and I deserved. They weren't doing me any favors. At least they paid some interest on the money! Good luck to you . . .
- They are too cheap they won't even put up for a new recording of an outgoing message.
- Yeah, the IRS is like a store that everyone is supposed to shop at but really no body wants to be there. It's some BS.
- you are a forced customer :) :) they don't help ppl who don't pay their taxes I guess.
- since you became a worker in this great ole country...the IRS owns all of us...and why do they have you on hold...it's not tax season, they shouldn't be getting that many calls...
- Ha Ha to that one....We're ALLLLL customers! They do have people calling them all yr. long....look at you, you're calling!!! People like you & me call, businesses call, they are one busy place. And, you're not the only one in the whole US who needs a copy of their form. Others do too. So you just learned something new today. Just another "notation" to put in your book of knowledge! I had a bad day today, hey, at least you made me smile...:)
