- Nothing! If they want a secretary they'll get one!
- Hi - Look around at similar businesses in your local area and see what they are charging to get a feel for the market rate. Then you need to work out what hourly rate you will charge to cover your expenses and overheads, your time, sick and holiday pay and so on. Don't be tempted to undercharge just to get the business. You're going into business to make a profit! I've written an article about exactly this topic here: http://www.virtualpabusiness.com/articles/how-to-charge-the-right-rate.html Also, have written a free ebook called "The 7 Things You Must Know Before Starting Your Own Successful Virtual Assistant Business" - feel free to download it from http://www.virtualpabusiness.com (it's at the bottom of that webpage). My business website is at http://www.virtualpa.com.au if you want to check it out. Good luck!
