e-Bay software?

I have recently purchased some software on e-Bay, and it has just occurred to me that it might be "infected," probably not with any virus - but spyware. I have heard of tax preparation software being so infected. My question: how does one go about "cleaning" a CD of possible infection?

1. Assuming the CD is not rewritable, the program and data on the disc cannot be changed. Most likely you would not be able to remove the infection without going through a lot of trouble. If your computer is infected with spyware, you can download the free software spybot to remove it. Good luck!
