Since tax season is approaching, what do-it-yourself tax preparation software would you recommend and why?

I know of TurboTax, but are there others? What are the pros and cons of each?

1. Tubo Tax. i use it every year. Its easy and thorough and walks you through every step.
2. I have used Tax Cut by H & R Block for the last 5 years, never had trouble and every year it uploads my w-2 from the payroll provider and banks, so it is really easy and trouble free. It costs like $24 and then e file is another cost if you do it that way
3. irs.gov is the best place to do your federal taxes online for free. I've been using this service for the last 5 years and have had no problems.
4. Turbo Tax is an easy to use and very cheap program. It basically does all the math all you do is input and it calculates it for you and it saves you return online foe a year.
