2. H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt are two firms I know of that offer tax advance loans, but they're pricey. You're really better off doing the E-File thing if you get your 1040 done early enough. We had our taxes done in late January last year and our Federal return hit our bank account after 10 days, just like they said it would. It's worth looking into, as opposed to shelling out at least $75.00 more for a tax advance loan.
3. If you don't need the advance, don't do it! The fees are outrageous! Prepare your income tax return and efile for free at www.taxact-online.com. If you have your refund direct deposited into your bank account, you could have your money in as little as 8 days.
